• Payrate: $18.00 an hour
• Schedule: Monday - Thursday | 7:00am to 4:00pm  and Friday From 7:00am to 1:00pm.

What's a typical day as a CNC Mill Machine? You'll be:

• • Loading and unloading raw materials
• • Proficiently using gages and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements
• • Reducing set up time and machining time through process improvements
• • Inspecting completed work for conformance to specifications using tools such as calipers, height gauges, micrometers, rulers, etc.
• • Cleaning and performing daily/preventative maintenance of company equipment
• • Assisting in the organization and maintenance of the Machine Shop work environment
• • Utilizing and abiding by AS9100 requirements and safety procedures
• • Providing feedback and input for process improvement
• • Training newer employees/co-workers on manufacturing processes and procedures
• • Performing geometry, tool wear offsets, and program edits
• • Complying with all quality policies and instructions
• • Tracking/recording job progress and deficiencies daily in both written and electronic formats.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• • Have 2-3 years of CNC Mill experience
• • Are proficient at reading and understanding mechanical drawings
• • Have a proficient understanding of and ability to accurately use measuring tools
• • Have proficient knowledge of various CNC controls and M and G code
• • Have the ability to turn on, set up, and operate lathes with minimal assistance
• • Are self-sufficient and able to perform mathematical calculations
• • Can sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
• • Have keen attention to detail and quality
• • Are able to bend, stoop, and reach
• • Can lift 30 lbs.
