Job Title: Machine Operator
Location:  Wood Dale, IL 60191, United States
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 2nd Shift  230-midnight
Position Overview:
Join our global, industry-leading team as a Machine Operator! We are a premier distributor and manufacturer of fasteners and critical components, dedicated to serving the heavy truck, automotive, and a wide range of other markets. As a key member of our production team, you'll operate specialized manufacturing equipment, help ensure smooth operations, and maintain high standards for quality and safety. Main Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Review, validate, and load materials for production
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot production machinery
• Monitor processes using machine controls and basic quality systems
• Inspect manufactured parts using precision measuring tools (such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges)
• Maintain accurate records and complete necessary documentation
• Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production goals
• Keep your work area clean and follow all safety procedures
• Perform routine machine maintenance and report any issues promptly

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
• Collaborative, results-focused attitude
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Basic computer proficiency
• Ability to understand production blueprints and perform precision measurement

Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• At least 3 years' experience operating industrial machinery (cold heading experience is a plus, but other machine operation backgrounds will be considered)
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for 8–10 hours per shift
• Experience with dies is a plus, but not required
