Key Responsibilities:
- Manage payroll, benefits processes, vendor relationships, employee setup, and compliance with IRS and state requirements.
- Review reports and tax filings, coordinate W-2s and other forms, maintain eligibility lists, and prepare for open enrollment.
- Act as the main contact for insurance carriers, manage coverages, review policies, and handle workers' compensation audits.
- Assist in vendor selection for profit sharing, act as the main contact with Third Party Administrators, maintain databases and files.
- Handle all aspects of client billing and collections, prepare financial statements, and manage accounts receivables.
- Act as the main contact with CPA, prepare tax planning schedules, review tax returns, and manage tax files.
- Review file requisitions, prepare monthly reports on billable hours and origination, and create annual performance reports.
- Assist the CEO with vendor contracts, landlord relations, strategic planning, and maintain banking relationships.
- Manage financial processes and create activity reports.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a law firm, service industry, CPA firm, or financial advisor firm preferred.
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- Proficiency with Laws Billing Software (generating AR, billable hours, and receipts reports).
- Advanced skills in MS Excel for reporting and calculations.
- Seasoned Controller capable of quick adaptation.
- Experience interacting with shareholders and attorneys.
