Now Hiring: Customer Support Representative
Location: Portland, CT, In-office (Hybrid after permanent hire)
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay: $22/hour
Schedule:
- Summer: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Winter (Nov–Mar): 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Every other Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Paid Overtime)
We are seekingexperienced Customer Support Representatives to join our team ahead of a key system launch. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position with the opportunity to transition into a hybrid schedule once hired permanently. Ideal candidates are customer-focused, dependable, and thrive in fast-paced environments. Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls regarding service requests, deliveries, billing, and account changes
- Schedule tune-ups and coordinate with oil/service departments
- Maintain accurate customer records and documentation
- Resolve customer issues and escalate when necessary
- Explain service options, contracts, and pricing
- Support retention efforts and assist with annual renewals
- Perform general administrative duties as assigned
- 2+ years of customer service or call center experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with computers and CRM systems
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates strongly preferred
- High school diploma required; some college preferred
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, resolve issues, and remain calm under pressure
- Must pass a drug screening
- Structured training program and clear path to permanent employment
