Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Location: Farmington, CT
Schedule: Full-time - 3 days in office, 2 remote
Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday – Friday

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. This position starts with several weeks of in-office training, followed by a hybrid schedule. The CSR will be responsible for delivering outstanding service to both internal and external customers through clear communication, accurate data entry, and efficient order management.

You will play a key role in processing quotes and orders, providing status updates, and assisting with general inquiries — all while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer focus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries via phone and email.

  • Accurately enter and process quotes, orders, and other customer requests.

  • Use internal systems such as SAP and CRM tools to support daily operations.

  • Provide timely updates on order status, shipping, and general information.

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal teams.

  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies consistently.

  • Meet established customer service metrics (e.g., order entry targets).

  • Collaborate with internal departments as necessary to resolve customer issues.

  • Perform general administrative duties as assigned.

  • Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed; call center operates from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Qualifications

Experience:

  • Prior experience in a customer service role is required.

  • Proven ability to perform accurate data entry.

  • Strong communication skills with a customer-first attitude.

  • Familiarity with SAP, Microsoft Office, or other CRM systems.

  • Ability to remain patient, courteous, and professional in all interactions.

  • Availability to work weekends, evenings, or holidays if needed.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
