Customer Service / Sales Support / Order Entry Opening in Amherst, OH
100% on site
Duration: contract 6+ months
Pay rate: $18-20/hr.
Start Date – ASAP
Dress attire: business casual (nice jeans ok)
Hours: 8am-5pm with 1 hour lunch (can do 8a-4:30p with 30 min lunch or 8:30a-5p with 30 min lunch if preferred.

Temporary role for a leave fill in until at least the end of August, but potentially through October
 

  • Complete requests received via phone or electronically from internal and external customers.
  • Accurately create and manage standard quotations, sales orders, returns, and other transactions in SAP in a timely manner according to established goals of the Customer Service Manager.
  • Answer inquiries regarding order status, order expedites, inventory availability, delivery status, and pricing.
  • Troubleshoot and help resolve customer complaints.
  • Follow correct process to communicate with other Nordson teams to solve problems and get the information needed for an inquiry.
  • Ability to learn and use Nordson case management technology to retrieve and update status of each task assignment.
  • Conduct themselves in a way that fosters a positive, supportive, and professional work environment.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance and improve their daily tasks.
  • Base performance standards against established metrics to drive performance improvements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements
Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:
  • One to two + years of similar CSR experience
  • Experience with quotes, and sales orders
  • Minimum 1 year experience in customer service/call center or office environment (A/R, collections, customer service with phone/email communications)
  • Experience with SAP ECC  or similar ERP systems experience
  • Previous case management system experience preferred.
  • MUST have computer knowledge and d/e skills, good communications skills.
