- Schedule: Mon-Fri | 8am-5pm
- Employment Type: 10-month contract
- Communicate with customers by phone or in person to provide information about products or services, process orders, cancel accounts, and address inquiries or complaints.
- Deliver essential services such as license, registration, title, permit, or program eligibility information.
- Ensure customer inquiries and complaints are resolved and the appropriate changes are made.
- Accurately document customer interactions and transactions, including all inquiries, complaints, comments, and actions taken.
- Resolve customer service or billing concerns by exchanging merchandise, refunding money, or adjusting bills as necessary.
- Complete contract forms, prepare change of address records, and process service discontinuance orders via computer systems.
- Refer unresolved grievances to the appropriate departments for further investigation.
- Determine service charges, collect deposits or payments, and arrange for billing.
- Contact customers to provide updates regarding claim investigations or any required adjustments.
- Exercise discretion in handling sensitive information and complex complaints.
- Conduct research, compile and analyze information, and apply policies to resolve customer issues.
- Handle and reconcile cash receipts, prepare daily deposits, and transmit funds to the appropriate offices.
- Previous customer service, call center, or office experience (preferred)
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail with accurate record-keeping skills
- Proficiency using computers for data entry and documentation
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Experience handling and reconciling cash is a plus
