Day Warehouse Coordinator

Location: Bensenville, IL
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Payrate: $24
Overtime: Occasional overtime as needed

Position Overview

The Day Warehouse Coordinator supports daily warehouse and logistics operations by providing clerical and administrative assistance within the receiving office. This role works closely with warehouse clerks, drivers, and management to ensure orders are accurately received, processed, and prepared for outbound distribution.

Under general supervision, the coordinator performs standard yet diversified office and warehouse-support tasks that require working knowledge of warehouse operations, internal procedures, and basic logistics processes. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role suited for someone who can stay organized and calm while juggling multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist warehouse clerks with receiving incoming orders and checking drivers in and out

  • Support the will-call process, including preparing orders for pickup

  • Perform filing, sorting, and organization of paperwork related to receiving and shipping

  • Respond to general inquiries related to warehouse and receiving activities

  • Enter, update, and maintain data in internal systems and databases

  • Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

  • Provide general administrative support as assigned by management

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Basic to intermediate computer proficiency

  • Ability to learn new systems quickly

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced warehouse environment

Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

  • Experience using Microsoft Excel and Word

  • Previous exposure to warehouse or logistics environments

  • Calm under pressure and deadline-driven situations

  • Team-oriented with a strong sense of accountability

  • Friendly, professional, and reliable

Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred

  • 1–5 years of related experience preferred (warehouse or clerical experience is a plus but not required)
