Position Title: Deburr Technician
1st Shift: 7AM-2:30PM
2nd Shift: 3PM-11:30PM
Pay Rate: $22 Hourly
Benefit Package: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Vacation, Sick Time, & Holiday Pay
Location: West Palm Beach, FL 33410
Responsibilities
As a Deburr Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and precision of our manufactured components. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Surface Finishing: Use a variety of hand tools, such as files, steel brushes, and cutting tools, to carefully remove burrs and achieve a smooth surface finish on metal components.
- Polishing: Polish metal surfaces according to specifications outlined in manufacturing drawings, maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
- Defect Removal: Select appropriate materials and tools for deburring, removing sharp edges, scratches, dents, and other imperfections to achieve a flawless finish.
- Dimensional Verification: Measure and verify dimensions of finished components, ensuring that deburring has not compromised accuracy. Make any necessary adjustments to maintain specifications.
- Quality Inspection: Conduct thorough visual and tactile inspections to identify any surface flaws, confirming smoothness and integrity of each part.
- Compliance: Adhere to all relevant policies, laws, and procedures. Demonstrate the highest levels of professionalism, ethics, and compliance in all duties.
- Team Collaboration: Actively participate in compliance-related programs as directed by your supervisor or our Chief Compliance Officer, supporting a culture of integrity and safety.
- Additional Tasks: Be prepared to take on other tasks as needed, contributing to an adaptable and cross-trained environment.
- Experience: At least one year of experience in a similar manufacturing environment, with a focus on deburring, dimensional measurements, and quality control.
- Skills: Proficiency in reading and understanding manufacturing drawings, along with basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Education: High school diploma or GED
