Diesel Mechanic Specialized in Heavy Equipment

Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced diesel mechanics who specialize in heavy equipment such as cranes, tractors, bulldozers, and diesel trucks. The ideal candidates will possess the necessary skills to inspect, diagnose, and repair these types of machinery efficiently. This is a Direct Hire for a local company is the Beaumont TX area.

Experience Levels & Compensation:

  • 5+ Years Experience: Pay rate of $30+ per hour.
  • Less than 5 Years Experience: Pay rate of $20+ per hour, unless possessing an exceptional background history.

Requirements:

  • Must have a clean driving record for a minimum of three years.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
  • required to work occasionally on school properties.

Working Hours:

  • Regular hours: Monday - Friday.
  • Plenty of overtime available; candidates can work all week if desired.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Paid through lunch.
  • Holiday pay eligibility after 90 days.
  • No health insurance is included.
  • A company truck and fuel card will be provided.

Job Duties:

  • Inspect various heavy construction equipment for proper performance.
  • Diagnose and repair faults using computerized tools or manual methods.
  • Adjust or replace defective parts as needed.
  • Conduct routine maintenance, including cleaning and lubricating equipment.
  • Service attachments and working tools.
  • Potential repair work on heavy trucks.
