We're looking for a Director of Production to lead high-stakes operations in a fast-paced, quality-driven defense technology company that builds artificial intelligence and autonomous systems for military applications—particularly for airborne operations.
This role isn't for the faint of heart. It's for a bold thinker who can turn complexity into clarity and operational chaos into global consistency. What You'll Own
- Production Strategy & Execution: Drive end-to-end planning, scheduling, and cost control.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Align manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and R&D into a single, high-performing unit.
- Global Supply Chain Oversight: Manage outsourcing, vendor relationships, and supply resilience across borders.
- Quality & Compliance Mastery: Ensure excellence through Lean/Six Sigma, regulatory adherence, and continuous improvement.
- Team Building: Recruit, mentor, and empower a world-class production team.
- Tech-Forward Thinking: Champion automation, data, and process innovation at every level.
- 10+ years in production/manufacturing leadership (automotive, aerospace, or similar).
- Proven success leading cross-functional and global teams.
- Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and advanced manufacturing methods.
- Executive-level communication and decision-making skills.
- Ability to travel internationally 50% of the time (India-based operations).
- Bachelor's in Engineering or related; Master's preferred.
- $152,000 – $220,000 Base Salary
