Dispatcher Needed in Pooler, GA

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay: $19/hr
Location: Pooler, GA

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Dispatcher to join our dynamic team in Pooler, GA. The role involves coordinating the movement of freight in and out of the port, as well as throughout Savannah and its metro area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate freight logistics with expert communication skills.
  • Foster clear communication between customers, drivers, and peers.
  • Maintain precision and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manage emails, Excel reports, and various data entry platforms.
  • Adapt to the ever-changing needs of customers and operations.
  • Uphold and contribute to the positive culture of our company.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
Qualifications:
  • Experience with GPA/Navis is required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, email, and Internet use.
  • Punctual and stress-resilient, capable of meeting deadlines with accuracy.
  • Dependable and able to work independently.
  • Excellent critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Friendly, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A responsible team player with the ability to provide EXCELLENT customer service.
  • Availability for after-hours, weekend, and holiday work, if needed.
  • Must have a High School Diploma; a college education is preferred.
