Job Posting: DC Associate – Shipping Receiving Worker

Location: Remington Indiana DC
Pay Rate: $19.55 per hour
Work Schedule: 6:15 am – 2:15 pm
Required overtime may be requested with little notice, including holidays and weekends.
Orientation: First day starts at 8:00 am; return to regular schedule for the remainder of the week.

Position Summary:
The DC Associate is responsible for receiving and moving materials within the warehouse. As an integral team member, you will verify inventory quantities, assist in maintaining inventory levels, complete paperwork accurately, and operate warehouse equipment safely.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Mark pallets with identifying store information
  • Operate lift equipment, manual pallet jack (Worldpac), or forklift (Advance Auto will certify after training)
  • Pick and stage parts for store replenishment
  • Use a hand-held radio frequency device (RF Scanner)
  • Read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and procedures
  • Use basic math to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure

Shift Requirements:

  • Commitment to full scheduled shift is required
  • Flexibility to assist on other shifts is a plus
  • Overtime, including weekends and holidays, may be requested with little notice

Dress Code:

  • Clean attire, jeans (waist-high, not baggy), clean shirt/sweatshirt with no logos or vulgar content

Physical Requirements:

  • Must meet warehouse physical demands, including lifting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior warehouse training or experience is preferred, but not required
