Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $38-$45/hour (depending on experience)
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
Location: Remote

What's a typical day as a Wind Technical EHS Writer? You'll be:
- Consolidating and updating Wind EHS policy documents to align with the new document template.
- Cleaning up outdated language, links, and terminology during the transition from Renewables to One Wind.
- Collaborating with subject matter experts to create cohesive documentation for GE Vernova Wind.
- Reviewing and revising documentation to ensure clarity, accuracy, grammar, and consistency.
- Identifying opportunities to improve documentation in line with GEV EHS technical standards.
- Providing timely updates to various documents from multiple sources.
- Ensuring all documentation meets client requirements, industry standards, and company guidelines.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Communications, or an engineering-related field.
- Possess 2-5 years of experience in technical writing.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Excel, MS Office, Word, Outlook, and MS Teams.
- Exhibit strong writing, editing, and communication abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Have the ability to understand and simplify complex technical concepts.
- Are familiar with technical authoring languages like XML and SGML.
- Display strong organizational and project management skills.
- Have experience in the energy industry or a similar field, which is preferred.
- Are proficient with Microsoft 365 Office suite and Adobe Acrobat Pro, with expert level preferred in Microsoft Word.
- Are able to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
- Are self-reliant, with the ability to apply educated judgment and maintain high levels of confidentiality.
