Electronics Material Handler I - Position: Electrical Assembler Reporting To: Service Manager Department: Service Position Summary: The Electrical Assembler performs the electrical assembly, wiring, installation, and testing of machine tool systems from initial build through final completion. This role supports the full electrical build process of large CNC machines, including panel wiring, device installation, cable routing, testing, and verification to engineering specifications. The position requires strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work effectively in a team-based manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Perform electrical assembly of machine tool systems from start to finish in accordance with engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions Install and wire electrical components including control panels, drives, motors, sensors, feedback devices, and cable systems Route, terminate, and label wiring and cables according to standards Assemble and install printed circuit boards and electronic components as required Perform electrical testing and verification using tools such as oscilloscopes, megohmmeters, data loggers, and diagnostic equipment Support feedback device setup and machine electrical calibration activities Utilize computers and software tools for diagnostics, configuration, and documentation Follow ENOC procedures and other assembly processes Operate material handling equipment including forklifts, scissor lifts, and man lifts in accordance with safety policies Work under the guidance of senior electricians, supervisors, or engineers as required Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives Required Qualifications Experience: Experience in electrical assembly, industrial wiring, or similar role Electrical background with knowledge of industrial electrical systems Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings Basic computer and math skills Familiarity with PPE requirements and safe work practices Strong teamwork, planning, and prioritization skills Machine tool industry experience preferred Travel Work Requirements: Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required up to 40 Willingness to work overtime and flexible hours to meet production schedules Flexibility to work second shift as needed Other tasks as needed Physical Requirements: Ability to distinguish color-coded wiring Ability to stand, kneel, bend, climb ladders, and work at heights for extended periods Ability to pull wires and cables through conduits Ability to lift 50 lbs.
