Role Overview As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a vital role in creating and refining electronic designs for innovative hardware systems. This position will see you working alongside experts from a range of technical backgrounds, tackling challenges that require both creativity and rigorous engineering practices. Key Duties

  • Develop and engineer electronic designs, addressing complex requirements from concept through to manufacturing.
  • Select suitable electrical components, generate schematics, execute PCB layout (ideally using Altium), and support vendor engagement for board fabrication.
  • Lead feasibility analyses, prototype evaluations, and testing of both novel and revised designs.
  • Organize and perform laboratory and qualification tests, analyze results, and drive the product towards production readiness.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues, conducting in-depth failure analyses when necessary.
  • Create and maintain thorough documentation, including design and test reports, specifications, manuals, and lessons learned.
  • Participate in and occasionally lead customer-focused meetings to gather requirements, define project scopes, and establish schedules and budgets in partnership with senior staff.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering with at least 10 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proficient with schematic development and PCB design (Altium preferred).
  • Strong understanding of analog/digital circuit design at board level.
  • Experience working with serial interfaces (SPI, I2C, RS485, UART, USB).
  • Skilled at diagnosing and resolving electrical issues during hardware validation phases.
  • Hands-on experience with lab instruments such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, signal generators, soldering stations, and high-power supplies.
  • Familiarity with low-noise, isolated DC/DC switching power supplies is a plus.
  • Ability to develop firmware in C/C++ or Python for the purpose of hardware validation.
  • Effective communicator who thrives in fast-paced, team-oriented environments.
  • Well-organized, able to juggle multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • High integrity with a commitment to professional and ethical standards.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
