Description

The Electrical Maintenance Technician will possess a working knowledge of electrical principles and theory as well as practical experience as it relates to the electrical maintenance field. This includes knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology and applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to work at hand.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs therefore you must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead and uphold safety practices, policies, procedures and housekeeping standards to make safety a priority at all times.

In this role you will provide electrical support to the production and warehouse crews, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical and automation systems. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Two-year degree in an electrical field, successful completion of electrical trade school, or a minimum of three years industrial electrical experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • NFPA 70E training and applied experience.
  • Knowledge of automation and networking equipment and processes such as PID/closed loop control systems, networking tools and standards, Variable Frequency Drive experience (ABB, Rockwell) and HMI programming/troubleshooting.
  • Overhead crane knowledge and repair experience.
  • Basic pneumatic and hydraulic systems knowledge.
  • Able to run conduit, pull wire and do basic panel builds.
  • Trouble shoot and repair electrical issues on production equipment.
  • Have a working knowledge of voltages from 120 to 480 volts AC, and 12 to 24 volts DC.
  • Boiler and steam system experience.
