Electrical Maintenance TechnicianGeorgetown, KY
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our client's industrial maintenance team in Georgetown, KY. This is a direct hire opportunity offering competitive pay and a full benefits package.

  • Shift: 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule (NO ROTATING)
    • Days: 7:00am – 7:20pm
    • Nights: 7:00pm – 7:20am
  • Pay Range: $25.00 – $40.00/hr (based on skill and shift)
  • Hiring Bonus: Up to $4,300 (paid out over 1 year)

Role Summary:
The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, repairing, testing, and maintaining electrical and electronic systems across the facility. This role supports both production and infrastructure systems, ensuring reliable, safe, and efficient operation of all equipment. Ideal candidates will have strong technical skills, hands-on experience with PLCs and robotics, and the ability to work independently or within a team environment.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems and components
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and control diagrams
  • Perform electrical work in compliance with NEC, local, state, and federal codes
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, including equipment failures and system malfunctions
  • Work with PLC systems (Allen Bradley), CNC machinery, robotics (Kawasaki), and servo drives
  • Write, modify, and troubleshoot ladder logic and HMI applications
  • Install and configure motors, transformers, and switchgear
  • Support troubleshooting and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Conduct inspections, testing, and documentation of maintenance tasks
  • Assist with developing and executing preventive maintenance programs
  • Participate in ongoing skills development and safety training
  • Mentor junior technicians and support departmental training initiatives
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company policies

Required Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience with industrial electrical maintenance
  • Proficiency with electrical schematics, PLC programming, and robotic troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with low and high voltage systems and the National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Experience working with CNC machinery and automated manufacturing equipment
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work any shift, including weekends, holidays, and during scheduled plant shutdowns
  • Capable of working in non-temperature-controlled and graphite-heavy environments
