Job Title: Electronics Assembler
Location: Tucson, AZ 85745
Pay Rate: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Perm
Schedule:
- During Training: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (1 to 2 weeks)
- After Training: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Electronics Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will perform various assembly operations, including preparing and soldering wires, conducting electrical tests, and mixing epoxy to create high-quality electronic products. This position offers the opportunity to grow your skills in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare wires for assembly by cutting to length, stripping insulation, and tinning the ends.
- Cut shrink wrap tubing to length as needed for assemblies.
- Solder wires and assemblies according to specifications.
- Perform post-assembly electrical tests to ensure product quality.
- Mix epoxy and glue covers to completed products.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and adhere to safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Basic math skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to read and understand test documents.
- Basic knowledge of electronics.
- Prior assembly and/or soldering experience preferred but not required; skills training will be provided for inexperienced candidates.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally to shoulder level.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team.
- Good attendance and punctuality are imperative.
- Must pass a drug test (note: does not test for marijuana) and a 7-year criminal background check before the start date.
Dress Code:
Casual attire is acceptable, including t-shirts and jeans. Work boots are not required.
Overtime:
Overtime is offered on a voluntary basis.
