Engineer: Facilities Instrumentation and Controls III
Location: Hillsboro, OR (100% onsite)
Contract Duration: Up to 18 months
Contract Type: W2 through Staffing Supplier
Hours: Mon - Fri 8:00a - 5:00p (every other week on call for the 7 days/nights of that week)
As a Facilities Automation and Controls Engineer, you will play a significant role in helping to develop the world's most revolutionary processors. You will join an elite group who work at our high-tech technology and development fabrication facilities using state-of-the-art manufacturing processes and tools.
The Facilities Automation and Controls Engineers make a big impact by helping develop standard solutions to improve facility control systems that support worldwide manufacturing base. In this specific role we are looking for a candidate that can improve our efficiencies in existing processes and tools through scripting. Whether it's building a factory or keeping manufacturing facilities operating to our high standards, we have the same goal of world class. Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science degree or Master's degree in Electrical, Systems and Controls, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science with a minimum 3.25 GPA.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years of practical experience with scripting, high level computer languages, servers, operating systems, databases, and networking. Hands on experience with, parsing files and extracting data, manipulating data structures, basic SQL queries, code revision control, GUI development, Windows scripting (PowerShell), VBA with Excel macros or otherwise, using the command line, common file types, csv, xml, etc., regular expressions
• 5+ years of practical experience in Industrial automation platforms, including GEFanuc Cimplicity, Rockwell Automation Control Logix PLC products or knowledge of other Facility Management Systems (PLC & SCADA).

• Experience in related operation, design, and construction standard practices.
• Knowledge of field instrumentation.
