Location: Saskatoon (100% onsite except for travel to other BASF locations)

Pay Rate: $28/hr

Join our team at BASF as an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Coordinator, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring safety and compliance within our organization. We're looking for proactive individuals who are eager to make a difference!

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience with a background in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in PC skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to prioritize requests effectively, understand importance, and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Strong analytical/problem-solving skills, as well as written and verbal communication abilities.

Travel Requirements:

  • All travel for visiting other BASF locations will be arranged and paid for by the BASF manager.
  • No additional medical exams are required except for a drug screening.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the development, maintenance, and implementation of safety programs, compliance plans, and initiatives.
  • Conduct routine safety observations to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, company environmental, health, and safety positions, procedures, and practices.
  • Oversee contractors, including administering Contractor EHS Orientations, issuing BASF Work Permits, and ensuring contractors sign in and out.
