Superintendent EPC
Location: Southeast Texas
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: Depending on experience
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Superintendent EPC to lead and manage construction projects, ensuring they are completed in alignment with design specifications, budget constraints, and timelines. This role involves overseeing all aspects of construction, including self-performed and subcontracted work, while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the total construction effort for building and site projects.
- Ensure adherence to company procedures, standards, and project goals.
- Direct and supervise self-performed and subcontracted work, including site work, foundations, structural steel, process equipment, material handling equipment, process piping, and pre-engineered metal buildings.
- Enforce compliance with the Health and Safety Plan for all personnel on-site.
- Conduct weekly safety meetings and lead the Onsite Safety Committee.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor the project schedule.
- Facilitate weekly subcontractor coordination meetings.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of contract documents and subcontracts.
- Monitor project costs, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Oversee and ensure adherence to the project-specific Quality Control Plan.
Minimum Requirements:
- 15 years of construction superintendent experience leading projects with scopes ranging from $3–10 million.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with various types of self-perform work, including site work, foundations, structural steel, process equipment, material handling equipment, process piping, and pre-engineered metal buildings.
- Proven ability to read and interpret contract documents.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with complex construction projects in industrial or EPC environments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate diverse teams.
