We are seeking a MarketSite Event Operations Associate for a hybrid technical operations and AV production role. You'll be instrumental in delivering seamless, LIVE in-studio and external events—from IPO ceremonies and opening/closing bells, to earnings calls, receptions, and press conferences. As the technical point-person, you'll ensure every NASDAQ event runs flawlessly, with hands-on AV, digital signage, and production system support.
- Operate live in-studio signage systems, including console controls, data monitoring, system upgrades, and source support for NASDAQ's video walls and displays.
- Monitor graphics, video content, and core infrastructure for errors or failures; troubleshoot, diagnose, and escalate issues as needed.
- Schedule, manage, and support digital signage content (internal/external).
- Maintain and patch production systems—video routing, control, content management, and alerting.
- Collaborate with onsite event planners to deliver AV solutions for MarketSite events (earnings calls, analyst days, press conferences, corporate meetings, demos, morning/evening receptions).
- Serve as technical liaison, ensuring client requirements are captured and delivered.
- Interface with contractors and internal teams for event coverage.
- Coordinate daily processes for ceremonies (Opening/Closing Bell, IPOs) and special events.
- Drive client communication and provide rapid response to technical questions.
- May include:
- Video Engineer (V1): Cameras, switchers, graphics
- Audio Engineer/Technician (A1/A2): Setup, troubleshooting
- Camera Operator: Manage robotic cameras
- Teleprompter management
- Produce documentation and daily checklists for systems.
- Resolve AV operational issues quickly, communicating with all stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant technical discipline—or equivalent experience and formal training.
- Hands-on experience in a real-time production or live event environment (must).
- Track record of excellent client communication and rapid response.
- Ability to excel under high-stress, highly visible live event conditions.
- Flexible/adaptive—willing and able to work varying shifts and hours.
- Detail-oriented; skilled at multitasking in a team environment.
- Proficient in Windows/Intel tech (OS, apps, PC/server hardware).
- Experience with:
- AV systems: Crestron, Lutron, Biamp, Wireless Mics, Digital Signage, Teleprompter
- Video routing: Zoom, NDI, vMix, Blackmagic hardware
- Project/program management tools: Monday.com, Asana, Trello
