Fabrication Division Manager This is a direct hire opportunity with Excellent Benefits Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Fabrication Division Manager to join our team and lead our production efforts. This role is based in the Beaumont/Golden Triangle area and offers a fantastic opportunity to oversee our fabrication division, ensuring that all products meet customer specifications and quality expectations. As a key management position within our company, you will be responsible for supervising staff, managing inventory, increasing operational efficiency, and scheduling production to stay on target and within budget.
Roles and Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day operations of the fabrication division to ensure production targets are met
- Supervise staff and ensure products meet customer specifications and quality expectations
- Manage inventory and order materials as needed
- Increase the efficiency of operations and schedule production activities
- Ensure the shop stays on schedule and within budget
- Develop and enforce safety, quality control, and production standards
- Develop or improve training programs and hire new employees
- Plan, direct, and administer policies and goals for division office regarding profitability, performance, work competency, and growth
- 15 years of shop fabrication experience
- 10 years of experience in a management role
- Profit & Loss responsibility experience
- Experience in planning and organizing production schedules
- Ability to assess project and resource requirements
- Experience in estimating, negotiating, and agreeing on budgets and timescales with clients and managers
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Ability to determine quality control standards
