Facility and Tooling Manager 

Salary: $60,000–$70,000 per year
Schedule: Mon-Fri 7AM-4:30PM
Location: Foxborough, MA

What's a typical day as Facility and Tooling Manager? You'll be:
  • Overseeing and maintaining all facility systems including HVAC, industrial electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
  • Tracking, monitoring, and maintaining tooling and calibration materials and records.
  • Managing the labelling and control system for all measurement and test equipment.
  • Coordinating with outside vendors for calibrations, fire alarm checks, waste disposal, snow removal, and pest control.
  • Requisitioning materials, supplies, and equipment parts as needed.
  • Scheduling and performing repairs and preventative maintenance on tools and building systems.
  • Training new employees on proper tool use and safety (e.g., crimping tools).
  • Assisting with manufacturing support tasks and data entry for New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.
  • Logging work orders and tool usage into computer systems, ensuring nothing is lost or missed.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
  • Performing custodial tasks when necessary, such as cleaning up spills and restocking supplies.
  • Assembling, repairing, and moving office furniture and fixtures.
  • Supporting a collaborative team environment focused on attention to detail and operational excellence.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have significant experience in facility maintenance, including HVAC, industrial electrical work, and routine building repairs (must have).
  • Are well-versed in tool management, including tracking, labelling, and calibration coordination (must have).
  • Possess strong computer skills for tracking calibrations, managing records, and handling work orders (must have).
  • Can effectively train new team members on tool usage and safety procedures (must have).
  • Have hands-on skills in carpentry, painting, masonry, and plumbing.
  • Demonstrate advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills for maintenance issues.
  • Are physically able to lift and move items weighing 25-50 lbs and can stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Excel in communication, both verbal and written, and have strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Are detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and enjoy working as part of a team.
