Kelly Services is hiring a Final Line Mechanic I to work with Gulfstream, a leading aircraft manufacturer, at GAC Savannah, GA (31408). This role offers hands-on aerospace experience in a team-oriented production environment with a stable, long-term contract.

Schedule: Full-time, 1st shift, 4:45 AM – 3:25 PM
Contract: 48 months

Assemble, install, and adjust aircraft structure parts and system components, including control cables, linkages, landing gear, doors, engines, cowls, and entry doors.

Remove and replace components; cut and fit system lines, panels, and associated hardware to perform basic repairs.

Rig control cables, sectors, linkages, control surfaces, landing gear, and doors.

Perform quality checks to ensure all installations meet specifications; complete rework as required.

Install system lines, valves, ducts, and associated hardware to ensure leak-free systems.

Use specialized tools and equipment such as permaswage pumps, dies, line cutting tools, witness gauges, wrenches, and checking tools.

Update and sign required logs and records (e.g., MIR sheets, DMTs, PCOs, Crabs).

Check own work to ensure defect-free installation prior to final inspection.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area; support FOD and 5S programs.

Support continuous improvement initiatives and aircraft certification/final phase testing, including flight tests as required.

High school diploma or GED required.

Minimum 1 year of aerospace/aviation experience or equivalent mechanical experience (auto mechanics, heavy equipment, etc.).

A&P license may offset the experience requirement.

Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams.

Experience performing basic drilling, reaming, ship-fitting parts, and similar tasks.

Must be able to climb ladders and stairs, work in confined spaces, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Experience with Solumina and Smarteam preferred.
