Professional & Industrial team as a Finishing Operator II with a global leader in high-performance materials used in construction, mobility, healthcare, and industrial manufacturing.

Why you should apply to be a Finishing Operator II
• Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour
• Location: Worcester, MA 01606
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM
• 3-month contract with possible extension based on performance

What's a typical day as a Finishing Operator II? You will:
Operate various machines and hand tools for multiple grinding and finishing tasks
Follow engineered specifications to shape and finish components
Perform layout, planning, and dimensional checks using precision tools
Handle materials in various stages from rough stock to final product
Work with close tolerances and maintain high levels of focus and accuracy
Adhere to safety procedures and wear appropriate protective equipment
Work in an industrial environment with moderate noise, airborne dust, and moving machinery

This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:
High school diploma or GED
Technical training, apprenticeship, or CNC machine experience preferred
Ability to read blueprints and use trade math to verify dimensions
Minimum of 4 months of relevant experience to operate independently
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs (and heavier loads with assistance)
Comfort working on your feet for long periods and performing repetitive tasks
Awareness of safety when working near machinery and in changing environmental conditions
