Forklift Operator

 Location: Ogdensburg, NY
 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Optional weekend overtime)
 Pay Range: $24 per hour (Temp-to-Hire; conversion after 625 hours) Position Overview
We are seeking a Warehouse/Forklift Operator to support our growing e-commerce order and return processing operation. This is not a standard warehouse role — you'll handle a wide variety of tasks, including sorting, inspecting, scanning, labeling, and preparing over 10,000 products for resale.
You'll also use computer programs and Excel daily, so computer literacy and attention to detail are a must. Key Responsibilities

  • Operate 3-wheel Toyota electric forklifts (4,000 lb capacity) to safely move product bins and materials throughout the facility
  • Perform quality checks on returned or resale items for cleanliness, condition, and reusability
  • Scan, pack, and label items for shipment or restocking
  • Utilize multiple computer systems and Microsoft Excel for order and returns tracking
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas and contribute to process improvements
  • Think on your feet — adapt to a wide range of tasks and product types daily
Required Qualifications
  • Proven forklift operating experience (3-wheel electric forklifts preferred)
  • Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to problem-solve independently
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to consistent attendance
  • Comfortable working in a non–temperature-controlled warehouse (ambient environment)
Preferred Qualities
  • Previous e-commerce or returns-processing experience
  • Desire to grow within a family-oriented, team-based environment
Employment Details
  • Duration: 625 hours prior to conversion
  • Shift: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Overtime: Optional weekends (Saturday/Sunday)
  • Lunch/Breaks: 30-minute lunch, scheduled breaks provided
  • Dress Code: Casual, work-appropriate attire
  • Safety Equipment: Provided as needed
