Forklift Operator
Summary
The Forklift Operator will perform all tasks associated with the proper operation of the Non-Con area.
Hours: Monday to Thursday 4:00p-2:00a with potential overtime
Key Responsibilities
¿ Fill orders using packing lists as a guide to pick various items
¿ Print packing lists and place packing lists on boxes
¿ Use equipment to pick items within the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
¿ Use the WMS to group orders that will ship using the same carrier
¿ Use forklift or pallet jack to move pallets to designated areas
¿ Operate a forklift to retrieve various items
¿ Stage packed items on skids
¿ Continuously lift and move up to 50-lb containers from pick slots to forklifts
¿ Determine the proper box size for orders and pack properly to ensure quality
¿ Perform basic mathematical calculations
¿ Follow safety regulations
¿ Perform other related duties, as required or directed
Skill Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
¿ High school diploma/GED or equivalent
¿ Ability to consistently lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs
¿ Ability to consistently move in a full-range of motion
¿ Ability to stand for long periods of time
Preferred Qualifications:
¿ Previous experience driving a standup forklift and/or pallet jack
¿ Previous distribution or warehouse experience
