Forklift Operator Position Available in Pooler, GA

Pay: $17.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Day Shift

We are currently seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team in Pooler, GA. This role involves essential duties and responsibilities that ensure efficient operations within our storage facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload goods from containers and trailers
• Move goods packed on pallets or in crates throughout the storage facility
• Stack goods in the correct storage area, following inventory control instructions
• Ensure loads are secure
• Stack empty pallets
• Perform daily equipment checks, including recharging equipment or changing propane tanks
• Remove machine attachments and waste material from machines
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards

Qualifications:

• Proficient in math, language, and reading skills
• Strong attention to detail to prevent injury and maintain a safe work environment
• Ability to follow instructions for equipment operation and record-keeping
• Ability to execute assignments accurately, timely, and safely
• Maintain a clean and safe environment
• Forklift certification per OSHA standards; 1+ years of experience preferred
