Description

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operators responsible for operating powered equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count products in Stafford, VA. This role entails checking all inbound and outbound products to ensure they are free of damage and infestation, accurately recording product code dates, and ensuring products meet customer requirements.

  • Monday through Friday:
  • 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM
  • 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM
  • 9:00 PM - 5:30 AM
  • Weekend Crew:
  • Saturday, Sunday, Monday
  • 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
  • Load Out Crew:
  • Tuesday through Saturday
  • 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM
  • 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM

    Pay Rate: $22 - $25 per hour, depending on the shift.

     

    Primary Duties:

    • Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products using a forklift or other power equipment 80% of the shift.
    • Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring accuracy in counts and types.
    • Maintain appropriate records for inventory accuracy.
    • Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards.
    • Verify load accuracy, check for stability and damage, and report variances.
    • Maintain equipment and materials in a neat and orderly manner.
    • Assist in physical inventories and complete daily equipment inspections.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned by management or clients.

    Key Relationships:

    • Collaborate with peers to complete warehouse functions accurately.
    • Receive work assignments and training from the Group Coordinator Lead.
    • Follow directions from management regarding company policies and procedures.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent is desirable.
    • Forklift operator certificate or successful completion of a forklift training program within the first 30 days of employment is essential.

    Experience:

    • Six months of warehouse experience and six months of forklift operation experience is preferred.

    Knowledge/Skills:

    • Ability to operate powered material handling equipment for 80% of the time.
    • Basic familiarity with warehousing practices.
    • Good written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules.
    • Capacity to read, understand, and follow directions.

    Working Conditions:

    • Must be able to lift 50lbs
    • Must be able to do physical work and be on feet all day
    • Must be able to work in different temperatures (there is a climate control, fridge and freezer dept).
