At Kelly® Professional & Industrial, we're seeking a Forklift Operator to work for a premier distribution center in Rochester, NY. With us, it's all about finding the right opportunity for you!

Pay: $20.00/hr. Temp to Hire.
A Shift: 8am to 4pm, Mon-Fri.

Summary: As a Forklift Operator, you'll play a key role in receiving, storing, picking, loading, and distributing building materials throughout our facility—both indoors and outdoors. We're looking for motivated individuals with proven experience operating a stand-up order picker (cherry picker) and a sit-down 5,000 lb forklift.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts, cherry pickers, and other powered industrial trucks safely
• Move materials between receiving, storage, and shipping areas
• Accurately pick and prepare customer orders for shipment
• Organize inventory on shelves, racks, or bins by product codes
• Load and unload trucks, verifying product counts and quality
• Perform general labor tasks including cleaning and organizing the warehouse
• Participate in physical inventory counts as needed
• Complete work orders, shipping paperwork, and order documentation accurately

This job might be an outstanding fit if you…

• Have experience operating a stand-up order picker and a sit-down 5,000 lb forklift
• Are comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
• Are dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
• Take safety seriously and pay close attention to detail
• Have a high school diploma or GED (preferred)
