- Reporting to the ST Production Supervisor while performing essential Bag Room duties for the ST Flaking department.
- Operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts to move supersacks and 50 lb. bags into warehouse storage after processing.
- Running manufacturing equipment such as supersack and filling machines.
- Performing washouts and changeovers of facilities and equipment for optimal efficiency.
- Assigning Lot Numbers, verifying production forms, classifying materials by quality, and documenting all procedures.
- Maintaining housekeeping and 5S standards throughout the work area.
- Performing basic computer tasks, transferring inventory using electronic scanning and required paperwork.
- Supporting or leading continuous improvement activities.
- Ensuring compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality policies including EHS&S Policy and Cardinal Rules.
- Reporting accidents/incidents promptly and participating in required EHS&S training.
- Managing hazardous waste according to regulations.
- Performing other duties as requested to support department goals.
- Have a High School Diploma or GED (required).
- Possess minimum 6 months of stand-up forklift experience.
- Are able to work in ambient temperatures, both high and low.
- Can work a 12-hour shift with a rotating schedule from 7am to 7:30pm and are available to work overtime.
- Are able to change elevation using ramps, stairs, and ladders.
- Can stand and walk for extended periods and can independently lift up to 50 lbs. frequently.
- Demonstrate basic computer skills and a willingness to learn and improve.
- Show commitment to safety, team-oriented mindset, positive attitude, and readiness for continuous improvement.
