This position is ‘contract to hire', 1st Shift Schedule, and pay range of $20 -21/HR (DOE).

Job Title: Forklift Operator/Material Handler

Schedule: Mon – Fri, 9:00am to 6:00pm OR 10:30am – 7:00pm

Pay Rate: $20 - 21/HR (DOE)

Work Location: Depew NY

Time to Fill: ASAP

Job Duties “At-a-Glance”:

• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials using sit-down and stand-up style forklifts, and other power equipment with various attachments.
• Safely and efficiently move products from the staging or storage areas into trailers.
• Inspect trailers and inbound materials for damage, contamination, and infestation.
• Verify quantities, lot numbers, and code dates against manifests and driver documents.
• Unload inbound trailer shipments safely and efficiently.
• Move products to the appropriate storage locations.
• Pull and prepare the product for shipment.
• Ensure products from proper locations, quantities and lot numbers are properly matched.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently, following prescribed work methods.

Work Requirements:

• Forklift and Double Forklift experience
• Have a “Safety-First” mindset and follow its best practice
• Able to stand, stoop, bend, lift up to 60lbs
• Work in various work conditions, indoors and outdoors, dry and wet climates
