Employment Terms: Approximately one year
Pay Rate: $18.00 
Work Schedule: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with a 1 hr. lunch
Location: Beaumont, TX 77701

Position Overview:
We are seeking a General Labor/Warehouse Worker to join our team The role consists on maintaining and processing physical assets stored in our Records Center. This position involves handling incoming and outgoing orders, as well as managing boxed items and wheeled bins. The General Labor/Warehouse will also assist with internal moves, permanent withdrawals, and special projects.

Primary Functions:

  • Process daily incoming work orders and rush orders, scanning carton barcodes and resolving discrepancies for shipping.
  • Scan all incoming containers, files, and tapes each morning; notify your supervisor of any discrepancies.
  • Assist in loading and unloading company trucks while maintaining regular communication and completing daily process steps.
  • Ensure timely placement of files, containers, and tapes, while adhering to safety procedures and reporting any issues.

Secondary Functions:

  • Report urgent issues, including customer complaints, to management and ensure all accidents and injuries are documented immediately.
  • Participate in safety drills, understand your role in the Disaster Recovery Plan, and collaborate with team members while traveling between facilities as needed.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse/physical environment or service industry.

Certifications and Licenses:

  • None required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficient in operating a Pallet Jack.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Ability to accurately complete paperwork and understand the importance of detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Routine lifting of 20-50 pounds, handling 100-400 containers per day.
  • Routine scanning of materials, overhead reaching, bending, and stretching.
  • Routine pushing and pulling of boxes and pallet jacks.
  • Ability to operate a forklift and/or pick lift.
  • Must be able to climb stairs and use tools to maneuver materials.
  • Steel toe shoes or composite shoes are required
