• Pay Rate: $18.25 per hour 

• Location: Brighton, MI 48116

• Schedule: 1st Shift – Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM (Saturdays as required)

• Employment Type: Potential Temp-to-Hire based on performance

• Environment: On-site manufacturing setting

What's a typical day as a General Utility Associate? You will:

• Set up molds and read job travelers to understand production requirements.

• Identify and apply the correct film for molds and change rolls when needed.

• Operate foam spray injectors to accurately fill molds with the proper foam amount.

• Adjust foam levels based on product specifications and mold type.

• Perform visual inspections to ensure parts meet quality standards.

• Assist with mold changeovers and monitor production efficiency (target: 80% or higher).

• Maintain and clean foam guns, ensuring smooth operation.

• Track and report waste, defects, and process deviations.

• Perform trimming, product finishing, and general floor coordination tasks.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, removing scrap and debris as needed.

• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with production leads.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:

• A High School Diploma or GED.

• 2 years of machine operation or manufacturing experience (foam experience a plus).

• Basic reading, writing, and computer skills.

• Ability to read job travelers and production specifications.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Team-oriented mindset and willingness to learn new skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.

• Steel-toed boots required (other PPE provided onsite).
