Kelly Services is hiring a General Utility Associate to work with Signode, a global leader in transit-packaging solutions, Florence, KY 41042. This role offers hands-on manufacturing experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented production environment with a 3-month contract.

Pay: $19/hour
Schedule: Full-time, 7:45 AM – 8:00 PM
Contract: 3 months
Location: Florence, KY 41042

Key responsibilities:

• Work closely with plant staff to provide a safe and efficient work environment.

• Start and operate mixer/production lines.

• Empty production lines into pallets for work-in-progress or finished goods.

• Track inventory produced during each shift.

• Monitor and record production downtime and causes.

• Ensure proper packaging materials are used for all products.

• Build pallets to keep up with production output.

• Stage, load, and unload products correctly for shipment.

• Periodically inspect products for quality issues visually or with tools.

• Maintain a clean work area using the 6S process.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

PPE Notification:
Contractors must wear their own steel-toed boots. Other PPE required for specific tasks will be provided on site.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

• General manufacturing experience required; plastics experience is a big plus.

• Safety-conscious with strong teamwork, listening, and self-awareness skills.

• Ability to perform all essential job duties, with reasonable accommodations provided as needed.
