Description

Kelly, in partnership with a global company, is looking for three Heavy Equipment Mechanics! We have openings in Baytown, Midtown and Baycity. You will be repairing commercial Forklifts, Trailers and Roll Trailers!

These are direct hire opportunities meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their vacation, compensation package and benefits upon hire!

Our client is offering a sign on bonus of $6,000 and up to a $10,000 bonus each year!

Details:
  • Hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday
  • Pay: $25 - $34 per hour
Job Description:
  • Perform maintenance through accurate equipment inspections, using a specific equipment checklist
  • Knowledge and experience with diesel engine, hydraulic and electronical systems
  • Troubleshoot various heavy equipment (forklift / trucks / wheel loader)
  • Read electrical and hydraulic schematics
  • Ability to use the computer maintenance program to charge out parts and to track equipment services
  • Ability to read and interpret parts and service manuals for equipment when needed
Requirements:
  • At least five years of experience as a mechanic repairing and maintaining heavy equipment
  • Knowledge and experience in electrical, drive train, engine, hydraulics
  • Experience with diagnostic related software is a plus
  • History of working with different forms of heavy equipment (forklift, tractors , wheel
  • loader , material handler) Cat / Hyster / Ottawa / Terberg / John Deere
