The HR Assistant role might be an outstanding fit if you have:
- HS Diploma or GED (required); Associate's degree or higher is preferred
- At least 2 years of administrative work experience (required); experience in one or more functional areas of HR is ideal
- Ability to work 100% onsite, Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm Eastern Time
- The ability to fluently read, write, and speak in English (required)
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (required)

What's a typical day as an HR Assistant? You'll be responsible for:
- Being a first point of contact for employees (phone, email, sitting at the front desk) - assist employees with general questions as well as connect and refer employees to appropriate resources such as HR Business Partners, People Services, etc.; create and submit content for Weekly Employee Newsletter
- Managing the disability claims communications and log
- Managing the employee uniform program; maintaining additions/cancelations
- Managing the HR conference room calendar; Ordering office supplies and any other supplies needed; Maintaining all electronic and physical filing of various employee documents; Processing all incoming and outgoing mail; Distributing monthly headcount reports
- Supporting the company's new hire process and orientation efforts, including the annual calendar
- Participating in employee engagement teams and assisting with events
- Other duties as assigned
