We're seeking a Human Resource Coordinator I (Process Improvement Analyst) to join Kelly Services at their Richmond, VA facility . This is a 4-month contract role running from , with a weekday schedule (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM) and a pay rate of $19.16/hr.

Analyzing and documenting absenteeism management and reporting processes across U.S. bakery sites.

Identifying inefficiencies and standardizing workflows to align with company and global HR standards.

Mapping and improving procedures related to FMLA, workers' compensation, and sick/leave tracking.

Developing process flowcharts, SOPs, and training materials to support policy consistency.

Leading weekly progress reviews, supporting change management, and coaching teams toward a zero-loss mindset.

Coordinating governance and implementation of new HR process controls for long-term sustainability.

Benchmarking best practices and integrating them into continuous improvement plans for the region.

A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Strong knowledge of absence management programs (FMLA, STD, LTD, WC, etc.).

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience managing HR analytics or reporting.

Familiarity with time and attendance systems such as Kronos or Infor.

Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.
Bonus points if you have:

Prior experience in process improvement or HR project coordination.

Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement frameworks.

Experience working in a manufacturing or large-scale operational HR environment.

Ability to train and coach cross-functional teams effectively.
