Kelly® is seeking an experienced Instrument Planner to support a top client in the Port Arthur, TX area.
Pay Rate: $70 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm
Location: Sabine Pass, TX (No per diem/living allowance. Local candidates only.) Position Overview:
In this Instrument Planner role, you'll play a key part in maintenance and reliability programs for our client's asset in the Port Arthur area. Candidates must have experience with SAP, Prometheus, and Primavera P6, as well as solid planning and scheduling skills. TWIC required. Essential Duties & Functions:
- Schedule maintenance & reliability programs for the asset.
- Create and maintain project and outage schedules using planning software.
- Plan and prioritize work for efficient response and effective backlog maintenance.
- Create detailed job packs with all required information.
- Coordinate work orders and schedules with Operations and Maintenance teams.
- Develop weekly, monthly, and quarterly “look-ahead” schedules for expense and upgrade work.
- Manage work assignments and manpower availability.
- Provide technical support within CMMS modules.
- Ensure full documentation of work orders.
- Identify material requirements and interface with vendors/supply chain.
- Assist with KPI development and reporting (including analysis and graphical representation).
- Request and assist in procedure changes as needed.
- Recommend and implement training to improve work activities.
- Support budget development as required.
- Additional duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
- 5+ years in maintenance utilizing SAP in oil & gas or petrochemical facilities.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Technical Degree or similar is a plus.
- Heavy SAP S/4HANA usage.
- Strong in planning, scheduling, and execution processes.
- Experience defining/building schedules in software, Prometheus preferred.
- MS Project or Primavera P6 experience a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of PHMSA regulated Pipeline facilities.
- Experience with gas compression & metering equipment is preferred.
- Familiarity with scaffolding, painting, insulating, rigging/lifting, welding, fabrication, machining work estimation/planning.
- Must have (or be able to obtain) and maintain a valid TWIC card.
- State-issued, current, and valid driver's license.
