
Description
Position Summary:
Under limited supervision, maintains accurate inventory levels and product quality by performing key clerical tasks such as compiling records, updating systems, and preparing requisitions. Supports warehouse operations by ensuring timely and accurate inventory and adjustment records, and by completing essential returns and refusals functions.
Responsibilities:
Perform daily inventory counts and audits with detailed documentation of results.
Research inventory transactions and exceptions to determine root cause and resolve issues.
Request, prepare, compile, and retain inventory reports and records in both printed and electronic formats.
Identify products in the inventory system, including verifying code dates.
Execute full range of inventory reclassification and transfer functions.
Evaluate, verify, and process returned products from drivers.
Reconcile routes, invoices, and other related documentation.
Process debit and credit adjustments using accurate reason codes.
Perform clerical tasks and audits in support of warehouse logistics.
Operate material handling equipment to move and stage pallet loads.
Adhere to company standards for safety, product handling, and food safety.
Accurately record time and attendance using the company timecard system.
Comply with the division's attendance policy.
Work in multiple environments, including office, ambient, refrigerated (up to 34°F), and frozen storage (as low as 0°F).
