Inventory Control Specialist (Manufacturing / Production Environment)
 Location: Onsite Allen, TX
 Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Tentatively 7:00 AM–4:00 PM (Overtime required during month/quarter end)
About the Role
We're seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our production team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience reconciling inventory discrepancies, conducting audits, and ensuring data accuracy within ERP systems. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on organization, precision, and teamwork — and is looking for a path to permanent employment.
Key Responsibilities Conduct cycle counts and audits to maintain accurate inventory levels Reconcile inventory discrepancies in ERP systems and investigate variances Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze inventory movements Create and deliver weekly reports to business and senior management Follow all warehouse and safety procedures consistently Support production escalations and shipping activities during peak periods (month-end, quarter-end Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required 1+ year experience in inventory control, warehousing, or production environments Proven ability to manage and resolve inventory discrepancies Proficient with Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, MATCH, Pivot Tables) and PowerPoint Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) Strong attention to detail, honesty, and self-discipline Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift 10–50 lbs as needed
  • Comfortable performing hands-on, physical work in a production setting
