Kelly Services is now hiring an Inventory and Logistics Associate to work with Pratt and Whitney's Tooling Department in Atlanta, GA.
Position Overview:
- The tooling support specialist will provide organizational, administrative, and logistical support to the MRT tooling coordinator, our technicians, and customers in the field. The tooling support specialist will also assist the tooling coordinator with managing the repair, calibration, and inventory of specialized and non-specialized tooling to include safety equipment utilized in field operations.
Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:
- $25.00 per hour
- Weekly Pay!
Shift:
- 1st shift - Monday thru Friday - 8:00am - 5:00pm
Key Job Activities:
- Handle tooling for Mobile Repair Team in support of Tooling Coordinator and manager
- Shipping and tracking, return receipt and inspection of tooling and routing to appropriate team (repair, destroy, etc.), track and maintain inventory
- Will also inspect returned tools for obvious damage and submit for inspection, recalibration, etc. as needed
- More hands on with some computer work
- All training will be provided - logistics background and/or shipping/receiving is ideal.
- Tooling background is not required but nice to have
- SAP and 2 other programs - mostly DE; will train
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Our Ideal tooling support specialist will have strong leadership, organizational, and motivational skills. He or she should be self-motivated, will have the ability to perform with minimal supervision, and have strong problem-solving skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Word and Excel
- Mechanical or technical background with working knowledge of specialized, common, and precision tooling
- Fluent in English written and spoken
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems
- Ability to read and understand technical documents and drawings
- Ability to work extended irregular hours and overtime
