Inventory Specialist
Location: St. Louis, MO
Pay Rate: $22/hr
Type: Contract-to-Hire
Kelly Services is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to join our client's team in St. Louis. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels in the raw material warehouse, ensuring proper documentation, and supporting production operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Verify weigh-up batches and label items with correct part numbers.

Perform cycle counts and manage packaging materials.

Create, confirm, and maintain SAP log sheets.

Complete production tasks as directed by the supervisor.

Follow all safety protocols, SOPs, and GMPs.

Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.

Recommend and implement process improvements.

Perform inventory transactions and operate a stand-up forklift.

Carry out additional duties assigned by management.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required.

Minimum 2 years of inventory experience; chemical or industrial sector preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory control systems.

Strong basic math and problem-solving skills.
Work Conditions:

Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
-
Lift up to 50 pounds (typo fixed from 500 lbs).

Use of tools requiring manual dexterity.
-
Various vision requirements.
-
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, adaptable environment.

Comfortable working in temperatures ranging from 20°F to 115°F.
