Kelly is hiring for an IT Support Analyst/Technician with our esteemed client in the chemical manufacturing industry, located in Freeport, Texas.

Job Description: IT Support Analyst/Technician
Contract 12 + month

Job location: Freeport, TX 77541 (Flexible Hybrid role)


Responsibilities:
* Provide L1/L2 Technical Support to enterprise data systems used globally
* Ensure that all incidents, problems and service requests are responded to in an efficient manner without negatively impacting SLAs and reporting metrics in place.
* Provide problem resolution of systems for local and remote users.
* Manage and monitor the support queue - ensure issues are identified, tracked, assigned, and addressed.
* Create, maintain and review operational processes and support documentation.
* Participate in support optimization and automation projects

Required Qualifications:
* Associates degree or higher. IT related degree preferred.
* 1-2 years minimum industry IT support experience with similar responsibilities described above.
* Experienced working with an IT ticketing system
* Solid analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Collaborates well and can also work independently with minimal day-to-day supervision
* Strong initiative and creativity – demonstrated ability to identify inefficiencies and recommend and/or implement work process improvements and/or automation solutions

Preferred/Plus Qualifications:
* Experience working in both a Microsoft Windows and Linux environment
* Experience working in ServiceNow
* Experience with automation tools such as Rundeck or Power Automate
* Experience working in an R&D scientific organization
