Kelly Services is actively recruiting for a IT Support Technician for a Long Term Contract opportunity in Midland, MI.
 

  • Client satisfaction is the number one goal of this position.
  • This role provides technical face to face support and potentially physical on-site support for IT and AV related questions and issues as well as white glove meeting support.
  • Professional appearance and behavior is also a requirement in providing top notch service.
  • The ability to multitask with attention to detail is crucial.
  • This position is for a person that is a self-starter, who can work well within a group or individually in a corporate environment.
  • Discretion is key, as the individual may be exposed to confidential information.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide Information Technology and Audio-Visual assistance.
  • Support presentations and equipment for meetings and events at Midland and remote sites.
  • Maintain Audio Visual equipment for Midland based spaces and manage the lifecycle of the equipment.
  • Coordinate with other Client technology teams, Collaboration Services, Network Services, and Mobile Services to ensure all required services are available when required.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with workstations, mobile devices, printers, and IT resources.
  • Support events around the world and work with various venders.
  • Excellent customer service skills are a must with ability and eagerness to learn about new technology and teach others.
  • Competent in computer software and hardware troubleshooting
  • Basic networking concepts
  • Mobile device troubleshooting and management.
  • Ability to coordinate external suppliers to achieve successful projects
  • Ability to work with all levels of organization from operators to CEO
  • Strong level of capability in Audio/Visual technologies
  • Flexibility to support users 24/7 as issues occur
  • Experience in Audio Visual control systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Office O365
  • Ability to evaluate, develop strategy and implement technology plans
  • A Bachelor's degree in Communications, Information Technology Management or Broadcasting is preferred
  • A+, Network+, Security+ or other base-level IT certifications
  • They need to adapt and execute a quick recovery from direction change and technology failures.
