Job Title: Janitor


Shift: Full-Time
Reports to: Facilities Manager
Location: Earth City, MO
Pay Rate: $16/Hour

Job Summary The Janitor is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of this to ensure a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for employees, clients, and visitors. This position requires an individual who is detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of performing various cleaning duties efficiently and effectively. Primary Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors regularly to maintain cleanliness.
  • Remove trash and recycling from assigned areas and replace liners as needed.
  • Dust and clean surfaces, including desks, windows, and fixtures.
  • Perform routine inspections to identify areas needing attention and maintenance.
  • Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify the manager when replenishment is necessary.
  • Assist with setup and teardown for company events and meetings as needed.
  • Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
  • Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the Facilities Manager promptly.
  • Perform other cleaning tasks and duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is a plus.
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals safely.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Physical capability to lift, bend, and perform repetitive tasks as required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
