Job Title: JIT Manager; Permanent
Location: Brantford, ON
Shift: Monday- Friday; 7:00am- 3:00pm

Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per year

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable JIT Manager to lead and oversee the operations of our central distribution warehouse in Brantford, ON. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, optimizing inventory traceability, and maintaining efficiency in a 24/7 operational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and manage a central distribution warehouse, including equipment selection, shipping & receiving, and overall operations.
  • Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies and vision.
  • Manage warehouse tools and equipment through scheduled inspections to ensure optimal performance.
  • Develop and implement safe operating procedures, ensuring all employees receive proper training.
  • Maintain and enhance inventory control processes to ensure accurate traceability and order fulfillment in a 24/7 operational setting.
  • Oversee the storage, handling, and distribution of goods within the warehouse to optimize space and efficiency.
  • Utilize and manage SAP and JD Edwards ERP systems for effective warehouse operations and inventory management.
  • Develop and execute action plans to meet Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets and improve warehouse efficiency.
  • Manage stock control and ensure reconciliation with data storage systems to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Recruit, select, train, and mentor warehouse employees to build a motivated and high-performing team.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience in setting up and managing a central warehouse, including shipping, receiving, and operational oversight.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, traceability, and fulfillment processes in a 24/7 distribution environment.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP and JD Edwards ERP systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage warehouse equipment, conduct inspections, and implement preventive maintenance programs.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in employee recruitment, training, and development.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills with the ability to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategies to meet KPI targets and ensure operational excellence.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and experience implementing training programs.
