Labeling Specialist
Jacksonville, Florida (Hybrid)
3 days onsite, 2 days remote (Tues – Thurs in office)
Mon – Fri 8am – 5pm

Responsibilities:

  • The Labeling Specialist shall initiate Artwork Request for assigned Labeling projects, including a complete labeling scope for the review of the Product Labeling Governance board.
  • Service provider shall complete all necessary Copy Clearance activities such as: part number request, vendor artwork requisition, VEEVA asset management assigned to Labeling projects per L-5000 procedure for the release to production.
  • Review and periodically update processes (work instructions) for labeling asset management and Copy Clearance projects.
  • Present labeling plans and provide regular updates to Global, Regional and Local Labeling teams as well as Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Projects team members.
  • Evaluate risks and opportunities for the labeling team's impacts for assigned labeling project and update business partners on areas requiring action plans.
  • Update client's Quality Management System to notate and document all assets in parallel to the documentation completed in the VEEVA asset management system.
  • Ensure all product labeling final copy conforms in compliance to Regulatory requirements & Product Labeling & Copy Clearance standards.
  • Initiate Purchase Requisition using client's procurement web application for all labeling service activities.
  • Coordinate labeling inquiries and provide resolution from the internal assessment of subject matter experts or functional owners.
  • Maintain and expand labeling technical knowledge and skills across manufacturing technologies, for both labeling and packaging specification to successfully implement project activities.

Qualifications:
  • Must have previous labeling experience in a manufacturing / regulatory environment, also working in a production environment.
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any field related to manufacturing discipline is required.
  • A minimum of 4 years of labeling or packaging experience is required.
  • Demonstrated project management or coordinator skills is preferred.
  • Experience in a production environment and experience in a regulated medical industry and all related competencies (e.g., GMP, compliance, processes, etc.) is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products: Word, PowerPoint.
